Instead of nerfing the VHX-D3 more than they already did, I would suggest to increase the power of other guns. Nerfing guns to a point that makes them feel like toys instead of guns just ruins the gaming experience.
I don't know why this community never makes a big deal about the absurd headshot multipliers. Nerfing the VHX is not going to solve gunplay. Priorities.

Done that months ago. Got no traction. The gunplay in this game requires a complete overhaul. That includes H/S multipliers but it'll never happen.

Well then there's no point of nerfing anything. Gunplay has only significantly gotten worse over the last year I've been playing. DICE should never have wasted time adjusting any weapons, including any of the vault weapons, if they can't simply type a different number in the HS multiplier code. I'd rather have one decent gun (VHX) to be honest.

Doing the AKSU74M challenge to unlock the RPK, that sorta stuff makes you realise how massively overtuned some weapons are in 2042, AKSU is closer to how it should be in a BF game. Not this dumb laser beam from all most common ranges. Also leaves no room for weapons that excell at range because there is no use picking them they are simply weaker, and all at the same time being kings in CQC.....
ASKU74M 20 kills on targets 25m+ the time my first bullet even reaches the target the VHX already hit me 8 times, it's an exaggeration but that's how it feels. Even the 12M is better at range
Hate overtuning weapons in FPS games to give players an easy to learn experience it's disgusting, just makes for a terrible game. Everytime you try something different for fun you just end up realise you are handicapping yourself with a clearly worse weapon. At least the RM68 had only a small mag to compensate for it's good accuracy and fire rate. VHX lacks anything to balance out the good.
Then again it's 2042 we are talking about here

Yep the RM68 was and is still technically a far better gun than the VHX, but the RM has spread and recoil now. The VHX has neither. The spread changes to the other weapons are mostly what makes this gun feel OP.Giving it only the red lazer is going to give it a major hipfire buff. Considering most people usually go with blue.
