Yep full progression should be enabled like bf2042 solo/coop for bf3/bfbc2/1942 era..
We are almost halfway through Season 2, just open this thing up. Full XP for PVE, bring back Zombie Mode, and let the players have fun. That would bring a ton of players back.
Some of the players on those servers have no choice, they can't find an AOW server in their region and need XP. So hey, let's hop on a boost server and get some XP. Let them at least do it vs Bots in Portal, or Solo/Coop. We already know this can be enabled. DICE has nothing to lose at this point. If anything it would bring players back and keep existing players from leaving. The big question is do that even want that to occur?
- 3 years ago@Adamonic Ripple Effect has already moved on to another project so the ones left working on the game have no idea how to work things in Portal on the back end.

@CantGetRightthat is obvious, but Zombie mode is already there for them to enable. Like I said before, the have nothing to lose by enabling XP and bringing Zombie mode back to life.

they gain tons of users if they enabled this, I run a rush 10 humans against tons of bots and its just fun, it fills up fast and we all have a blast.

I agree to the closing of that kind of servers .. But didnt we all know they would be there very fast ?
"If you build it he will come" .... Its been the same in all Battlefield games even in BF2 (maps where you could sit for 300 hours to get a tank ribbon if I remember correct).
So unless EA/DICE decides to deal with them its all about avoiding them.

Yup, that's likely what's happening. FOMO is a catalyst for all kinds of things.
It's actually no longer possible to play this game with less than the bare minimum of human players whilst still having AI and FULL XP enabled. This is because AoW is the only place where AI is enabled with FULL XP but that bare minimum player count exists. It doesn't make sense to me...
Something else I noticed in last week's playlist rotation is that there was a Featured Portal experience that was FULL XP which had AI enabled, so it's 100% possible for Portal to have AI enabled with FULL XP whilst being alone in the lobby unlike AoW, just another reason Portal is superior to AoW. Those experiences also don't show up in the server browser when someone is playing them? They really should as it's unlikely anyone will click that experience if they don't know there's a lobby going for it...
It's just messy, for a multiplayer only game, it's so unintuitive.
- 3 years ago@S3SSioN_SoL It was always there from the beginning. Because I’ve been playing from the beginning. And it was full xp for the first few hours of the Ea play trial. But it was quickly removed. And I’ve heard people say it’s on shortly after every patch. If that’s true it’s as simple as flipping a switch.
