We need to be able to change the squad as soon as possible,we can overlook changing the team because of its abuse,but changing the squad will never do thatand here is a list of some reasons why you want to change your squad while playing : - Entering a server with your friend, but they don't put you with him in the same squad- Squad full of players who do nothing or are far from the device- Meet new players and talk to them after a great run in one of the vehicles together

@DaaTECNO yeah we need more squad functionality.I can change squads and sometimes it dumps me to an empty squad, but let me create, lock, invite, kick, give orders, accept/decline orders, etc.Some of the most useful things in this game is teamwork and a great squad; on the flip side, one of the least useful is being in a squad where 1 guy is AFK, 1 player is camping your spawn, and another guy is just aimlessly running around the map.

Eight months post launch and we still don’t have an informative and functional squads UI panel that shows all squads and that includes all the squad UI bells and whistles from previous Battlefield titles. .

@kregoraThis is currently broken beyond belief. We do that usually. We join with 4, split up and then create a new party. The others join by joining the two existing parties. This was working before the latest patch.What happens NOW is that say if player 1-4 join, player 4 leaves the party and created a new party and then invites player 5 to join his new party, often player 5 (the one that joins AFTER all others are on the server) is placed on the opposite team. And once player 4 dies (the one that was with 1-3 on the server first and had to create a new party) he is switched over to player 5 and is in the enemy team as well.This game is NOT made to play with more than 4 players. It is painful and for us the reason why we play with max 4 players now and switch to BF5 as soon as Teamspeak fills up.Priority for us is playing together and playing BF2042 comes definitely second to that. It was nice up to BF4, after that, this aspect of the Battlefield went downhill with every iteration.I guess in BF7 there won't be any parties or squads at all and you can only matchmake to play with randoms. IF there ever is a BF7 that is.

There is currently no way to leave your squad either. You can right-click on your name to "change squad". But, this will only randomly put you in another squad. Unless they all happen to be full, where you will be placed in your own squad.Sometimes I want the ability to play outside of a squad. In previous titles I could start my own squad and lock it. For example when I'm temporarliy testing some loadouts/attachments and not contributing/PTFO'ing like I should be. I dont' want to waste a squad spot for someone else.

Realistically these features should have been there at the start.
Yep I agree they should have been, DICE please give us back the squad options we had previously in earlier BF's.

Totally agree with you.
This is just another reason BF2042 just doesn't feel like BF, it's missing so many of the core mechanics that we had all come to expect from the series.

@Psychopski I think it all comes down to a lack of a server broswer. Joining, squads, etc. since the game decides who goes to what server.
