Weapon stats clarification
I always wonder why weapon stats are so blurred in most games.
Those bars (Fire power, Accuracy, Range, Handling) are not really self explaining and can't even be compared from one category of weapon to another.
Even in the same category a weapon can be better in every point on paper than another one but feel less effective on the battlefield.
I understand that it's an easy way to have a quick overview of the weapon but I think we should be able to have access to more in depth stats and not let some players do the work by testing it or data mine it.
For example we could have a detail tab in the weapons stats overview where those 4 bars would be replace by these clear stats :
-the curve of damage over distance
-headshot multiplier
-dispersion cone
-draw time / aiming time / reload time / aiming move speed multiplier / other ?
Also I'm pretty sure that the devs already have some tabs they use to balance weapons that could be implement for that.
What do you think ?
