So far we have a roadmap for the next few updates but what about the poor state of of the hardware optimization/utilization? Out of the gate the game is not using hardware to its full potential. For example I am running the below specs and getting 70-80% CPU utilization and 50% GPU.Core i7 8700k @ 4.4 GHzGTX 3070ti32 GB Corsair DDR4 RAMOn medium settings I am barely scratching 70 FPS when I should be getting a lot more. Not even mentioning the dips to 30 FPS with high action. Other folks with even better hardware are barely getting 90 FPS steady.

For some reason they seem to have been doing a REVERSE optimization as far as I am concerned.CPU: ryzen 5800XGPU: 1050ti (damn you cryptominers!! I am not paying MSRP of the 3080 for a 3060)RAM: 16GBLow settings with 1080pOn the pre launch week I had 50-60 fps almost all the timeAfter they started "optimizing", I lost 10 fps from that the last few days I dropped bellow 30fps on busy times.There is also some serious memory leak which makes my RAM fill up to over 15GBMy GPU is as expected fully used at about 98-99% and the CPU is not even used at 40%

@Tronald0_78 Set the NVCP framerate limiter to 60fps, and look at the Afterburner FRAMETIME graph after playing ten minutes. It'll probably be as flat as a ruler except for some spikes at the spawns. Now progressively raise the framerate limit and retest until you start seeing stutters again in game, then back it off slightly.BTW, it's most likely the CPU causing the stuttering. The GPU is essentially "outrunning" the CPU, which causes gaps in the stream, which is what you are perceiving as stutter.

@UP_HawxxeyeYeah I tried everything aswell. I googled every type of fix listed. Yeah it may help with a few fps here and there but your not gonna fix the memory leak on your end.Id get 80+ fps one day then 50-60 with drops in the 20s the next without changing a thing. Performance is just everywhere. Sometimes good then bad. Its the game and its not stable.I just decided to play other games til these next patches are released and see what they do. I love the battlefield franchise more than any other shooter. So in the words of Tom Hanks in the terminal....I wait.

What is the state of GPU/CPU optimization/utilization?

Hardware Unboxed has done a number of good videos on youtube about Battlefield 2042 with benchmarking and looking at hardware optimization I suggest you check them out.

Fps 120-130 , never drop below 120... but i have some massive stutter, lag, freezes... i just dont know whats going on but its just not playable...

Where do you get off posting such blatant bs? You must be pretty desperate for validation despite being absolutely in the wrong. If 12th gen intel CPU's are getting FPS LOWS in the 60s with RTX 3090's at 1080p - that automatically proves you're full of it. See attached for proof.

Sitting at about 60% GPU utilization in most cases and dipping into the low 30's in hectic firefights with an RTX 3090. Whoever thought of recommending a 4th gen i7 should be demoted to janitorial duty for falsifying claims. My six core 8700K is ON ITS KNEES FFS!

@SLSAMGGMan calm down lol.... i dunno why you mad like this but this is what i am experiencing....my fps are pretty good but the game is just not fluid at all... i suggest you take a brake or get a life man...smoke some weed or something ...you do realize its your old 8700k cpu the problem ? Stop being mad if some run it better with a proper or i mean better cpu....you try to run at ultra with an almost 5yo cpu... lol wow !!!! You genius i bet you the kind of guy tryin to go 250 mph with a 2012 honda civic..

12700KF/3080FTW3/16GB 3200mhz DDR4
1440P/ULTRA, with DLSS, REFLEX, FFR disabled, and RTSS set to 90FPS.
30-40% CPU usage.
>90% GPU usage.
Flat 90FPS in all out war. Smooth as silk.

If I increase the RTSS limiter to 120FPS, GPU goes to ~100%, CPU goes to about 60%, and there is noticeable input lag and general choppiness in the gameplay.
