Bizarre......
Ideally both at the same time. I guess in some instances I’m happy to play with a random team, I’m UK and my BF friends US so I play at different times. So basically the scoreboard is something that I use to * the performance of my play, see how well I did compared to everyone else, and drive me to work out why I was doing poorly. FYI, I don’t play for k/d, I assess on my teams collective scores, where they’re sat across everyone else on the side. Should I stick with them or change squad.
i.e if I can’t wrestle team captain (in bf4) that is, I will consider switching squads.
so the end game acore board and in game squad view help me immensely in enjoying the game by helping me to play the objective, compliment the team, and find like minded players.
So I don’t think it’s two odd as a Billy no mates to want to have a scoreboard before better squad management.z
howecer, I think server browser, continuous map rotation and squad switching and squad features (locking, kicking etc) should be done before everything else because it’s such and important feature.
If I had to pick just one it would be server browser. If I had to guess why all these features are missing it would be because this new team at DICE honestly doesn’t know how to program all the missing features into the game. Why else would so many features be gone?
Too many ton list but ill start with these.
- Sniping mechanics that made sniping a skill instead of a arcadish sniper. Mechanics like holding your breath, bullet drop was better, this game has almost no bullet drop.
- Variety of maps for different experiences .
- Military insignia for ranking up.
- Medals for achievements.
- Tracking of a players kills against you and you vs them.
- Squad play seemed more rewarding and enjoyable.
- Overall sound but Tank sounds seemed way more realistic , my living room used to shake from the rumbling of a tank and when I shot items will fall off of my subwoofer.
- Dog tags for melee kills.
Alot of little aspects of the game that made you enjoy it and want to keep playing . The devs goal should be to create a very rewarding and addictive game that will keep you playing for years not get bored of the same ol. There has to be more addictive elements added. Iam already bored.

Lol, these things missing are not legacy. These are main things that have been in the other BF games that should be in this one as well. Nothing legacy about this.
@-DFA-Thump wrote:I really do not like the fact that they call that stuff "legacy" as a psychological shift mechanism. They are trying to plant a seed of changing battlefield into something that it was never originally in its make-up. It is their attempt to shift the game like Ubisoft did to Rainbow Six. Look at the OG Rainbow Six and then look at siege...the only similarity is the fact that they have the Rainbow Six name. You can see this same attempt being done by DICE in real-time. What I wish they would bring back is exactly everything they tried to get rid of.
Agree
1. First person melee animation
2. Server Browser
3. Scoreboard
4. Leaning
