It was ok. I have had better ARs and worse.
I'd range it somewhere a little bit above the middle.
The new visual recoil might have influenced the feeling of it too. But that would probably affect the other ARs too, which I did not play since the update because I'm chasing the new T1s 😉.
It's sure worth T1ing it 😉.

@SharpGoblin I saw the same video, makes me want to try it too. I unlocked the AK 5C myself last night. I'm close to finalizinig the T1 AM40 I'm working on currently. After that I will start working on both the new guns.

Community ManagerReally enjoying the AK 5C, haven't made a huge amount of progress because the urge to do my job as medic is too strong so I keep getting more revives than kills but it's been a blast so far.

So that’s the AM40 out of the way, time to work on the new guns!

Community ManagerConsidering the fact that I average only a few kills a round, I'll probably never T1 a weapon. In 114 hours of playing my highest weapon is Mastery 16 (SFAR-M GL) with a few more at Mastery 13 (M5A3, AK-24, LCMG). So 1200 kills is a loooooooong grind once I get past T3 and can't farm bots. I'll maybe try to T1 Falck and eventually pick an SMG or AR and try sticking with it. Probably something easy like the M5A3 I guess.
@AOD_moose004An option is to play with crossplay off and play TDM and other official portal modes. The official modes don’t always populate with bots but most do, and it counts towards T1. There’s a small but growing crossplay off group who game so you’ll get some real players and bots. It’s not as sweaty and the servers almost always play well (network compensation etc).
I’ve T1’d things just through persistence. I pick one thing and just use it until it’s done. Doesn’t matter if a different specialist or weapon would be better on a map, I just grind it out lol. I think the M5 is the best all around weapon in the game for what that’s worth. Close quarter rounds and short barrel it’s basically an SMG, champion compensator and extended mag is a great AR. Long barrel and high power rounds is an all right sniper rifle (not great though). Swap scopes as needed 😉

Yes, definitely crossplay off.
Because depending on what platform you use, you can easily notice that either all PC players are cheaters or all console players use built in aimbots. 😉
