Why did I find two versions of bf2042 in the extra content

I found two versions in the additional content of bf2042, one is the gold edition and the other is the ultimate edition. I clicked to upgrade the game before. The version I purchased in advance is the ultimate edition, but I found the gold edition in the additional content. Is it because I clicked to upgrade the game? Will there be conflict if my play Pro stops renewing the game?

  • @DecreeNo9 I have the same thing showing since I have EA Play Pro at the moment. You stated earlier that you have EA Play Pro, so all it is showing is all the content that is included.  You get the Ultimate Edition via EA Play Pro which includes all the content in the Gold Edition.

@DecreeNo9, so you see two versions of the game when there's an update available, but do you also see two versions of the game in your Origin library?

@DecreeNo9, ah alright! In that case there's nothing to worry about. The 2nd version of the game that you see when there's a new update available is nothing more than a verification of some sort, not an actual 2nd full game or update that you need to download. I have the same. 🙂

@EA_Leeuw After my update, I open 2042 and a window appears, which says: too many computers use this account version of 2042. What should I do? I never lend my account to others. Can I only wait?

@DecreeNo9, hmm, this is a very common notification that you get when either using a VPN or opening Origin on different computers at the same time or very fast after each other. My guess is that you are maybe using a VPN, can this be correct?

@EA_Leeuw I only turned on VPN once when the game was updated, and I turned it off at other times

@DecreeNo9, ah yeah, that could have caused this. If you get the "Too many computer have access..." notification, it means that you have to leave Origin and your EA account alone for 24h before you can play again. This is unfortunately an automated security measurement to prevent unwanted access to your account and games.
