As the title says why don’t you use it. I’m literally spamming pings on enemies of locations of suspected enemies. Yet I see even squad mates who’ve just been killed not pinging the location of the enemy that killed them.

Exactly, plus if that wasn't there are launch why would they think to try it later on?
Exactly. People don't even know they can do it. 3d spotting and the new ping system was actually patched in several weeks ago, well before 3.2.
I am always pinging enemies up or down.
I mean why wouldn't you want to ping enemies it gives you points. Just like I don't understand why people don't want to heal, revive and give ammo as it gives points as well?
Yep, it's weird, I am a spotting like crazy myself.
Maybe players aren't spotting because it plays an animation of your arm and hand pointing and delays you actually shooting.
They should remove the animation kicking in.
