It would be really cool to be able to have a laser sight, with a grip, with a flashlight if desired. It would be a hipfire monster but the freedom of choice and customization for your gun would be really cool.
Attachments don't feel any different by the way, all feel the same to me.
It's a balance choice I guess, but yeah it doesn't make sense using real world logic.

Some even seem to do the opposit of what their description say they are supposed to.
Like I was running the M5 and put on the grip that is supposed to reduce recoil, and I would swear I actually got more recoil doing that 🤔- @BizzyVaping weapons and attachments design are so ridiculous. I hate this game.

It is a simple concept of having trade/offs
If Flashlight/laser were independent, everyone would be using them + grips.
Right now the choice between the laser and the grips indicates the intention to invest more into the close quarters hipfire or the longer range ADS combat respectively.
The Plus system also lets us change between all these very quickly too.
EDIT:
Also due to the Plus system being tried to the cross buttons of the consoles (which is also the reason behind its naming) the attachments had to be split between 4 categories and not more
Anyway, you can toggle on/off. Why don't just put in on at the customize menu. What a joke!
