Wildcat 35mm AA feels terrible against some aircraft

Some of the helicopters seem to just absorb shots even from the 35mm Dual AA cannon like a sponge. You can get the jump on an aircraft, up nice and close, and they will just destroy you with rockets before you've done more than scratch them. And then you run into turret elevation issues. The faster 30mm cannon is decent against jets and more lightly armoured aircraft, but something feels completely off with the 35mm cannon. I'm not sure if this is a netcode issue. Mobile AA vehicles should be feared by aircraft, but you're better off configuring the Wildcat as an AT vehicle to be honest. Or trying to keep your distance and use the 30mm and missiles.

@AlkaniusRUS I wonder if the new meta for wildcat users will be to operate near a Blasco beacon to guard from lock ons

So you want to fly around like a blind monkey and be immune to anti air guns 20 meters below you? You need to get a grip on reality.

I have repeatedly stumbled upon such positions, and I will say that this is useful for those who do not plan to ride the map. In this scenario, destroying WildCat is possible only with TOW in an attack helicopter. I've been playing like this lately, moving away from the imbued NB to attack helicopters.

@BownrInSweatPanz And thats when you press repair button and woalaa. There are rarely users who play 20mm on nb. Useless against inf, useless against aircrafts.

@SlipperyLiz4rd You should title your post to better reflect your body of text. "35mm AA feels terrible against some aircraft". There are many other aspects of the AA that are fine.

@UP_Hawxxeye Probably to prevent complaints from Pilots that AA can chain Countermeasures, which MBTs are able to but no complains heard nowadays.

@Man_iLoveFishing repair doesn't counter AGMs, and 20mm is common on NB idk what you mean useless if it's a good source of chip damage to vehicles even MBTs

@BownrInSweatPanz You still have gas forward and backwards, nb has bigger momentum. Mind games, what I mean, if you get shot by first agm (ur fault). Repair doesn't fix on disabled turret? And I meant 20mm for declining repairs. Usually most avarage and pro nb players go with mg and agm.
