- OkamiToge4 years agoSeasoned Ace@Tifanofauvo How are they like a PC besides the fact that they can play games? I play on console by choice because I enjoy it for what it is, and you PC players want it to become what you want instead of what it is and always has been. Consoles = controllers, PC = k&m besides there is a clear advantage k&m users have besides all the settings they can tweak and I don't even need to get into all the problems with the c******s word.
I would be completely fine with k&m on consoles, as long as you're all put into a k&m separate lobby from controller users in any sort of competitive game. - Trokey664 years agoSeasoned Ace@Popa2caps You should make yet another thread about it.....
- @TankerFlanker Thats the point. Since there is crossplay between PC and consoles, adding mouse and keyboard support and having such users go against PC players or other K&M users is the way to go and it doesn't break the game balance at all. Controller users have the option to opt out of this if they don't want to play with other PC players or use a M&K so there is no harm to people who prefer using a controller. Without M&K support every console player will opt out of playing with PC and the whole 'crossplay' option would become a waste of time after console users realize they cannot compete with PC players.
I bought a ps5 because I couldn't afford a PC and a lot of people probably did the same and not adding K&M support to consoles would be a missed opportunity. COD does it and no one has complained about it so far. - Trokey664 years agoSeasoned Ace@FireExhauster Your inability to purchase a PC is NOT a valid reason to add M&KB to console.
- Trokey664 years agoSeasoned Ace@Popa2caps Did that have native M&KB support by the way?
- @Trokey66 Completely missing the point. The second paragraph was from a marketing perspective and not of my own. You would sell more copies and adding mouse and keyboard is just a plus for everyone and I genuinely dont see why people who love controllers have an issue with it. You love controllers? Have an issue with playing against other mouse and keyboard? Opt out. You have the option. But not everyone prefers a controller for a FPS game. Me included and I probably wouldn't buy the game if it didn't.
I really don't understand why people are against an accessibility option in a crossplay game that doesn't give the user a distinct advantage over their opponents. The opponents are going to have the same hardware so why does it matter? Not adding this option would lead to two things. People either won't buy the game or resort to external hardware to use mouse and keyboard on a console lobby. Loss and a loss to EA and console players involved. - Anonymous4 years ago
@Trokey66
Have you ever used a mouse & keyboard for gaming? - Trokey664 years agoSeasoned Ace
@FireExhausterNot missing the point at all and the fact you don't understand the views of controller users is part of the problem.
@Popa2capsnot on console..... - @Trokey66 So help me understand. I legitimately don't see why console users are bothered by this. I don't see any issue that stems from this and CoD and couple other FPS online games is proof of concept.
