Will PC players actually be the ones suffering most from crossplay?

We (as in 'we the BF console players') have in recent weeks been listing the many good reasons why we are highly worried about what crossplay might inflict of misery on us, now with the PC community ...

    Thank you @TomaSkTemplar ,

Interesting points that you bring up!

But wouldn't it be sad if all players on a server would be dummed down to the lowest denominator with regards to latency delays?  So aka 127 players with perfect internet line quality, all with less than 80 ms latency to the server would all be artificially delayed up to a 280ms seconds latency on the server, just because player number 128 logs on and has such poor line quality connection at 280ms.  So all the other 127 players are now made to suffer in their game play experience as a result of that single player?

We see high 3-digit latency enemy players in our gameplay every single day on console.  Reason why I raise the concern of the PC players, as you have had firm measures to block such so far.  I would welcome same measures for the consoles to be put in place, but the console companies appear to have blocked such in the past.  So how is this going to get settled in the crossplay world, as some have to give in?
