@UnCazualGamer
BF4 had more critical hardware bugs. So buggy that it made the launch state of BF2042 look good.
BFV had more pre launch controversy because some geniuses picked fights potential buyers over their creative decisions.
The problems of BF2042 come simply from changes in direction halfway in development which combined with quarantines slowed down things even more. So we got a more barebones game than we could had gotten otherwise. Of course bugs of the variety that comes from a lack of testing also stem from that.,To its credit. BF2042 got really many updates faster than before.
Maybe. Keep in mind that this is a AAA studio that released an FPS game without very very basic things that a scoreboard and VOIP. Ignoring all the other things that they forgot or removed from previous games, the absence of those two mentioned things are inexcusable
Hey OP, have you got any stats from other platforms, or are you pushing old debunked disinformation?
This Steam subject is so last week.
The launch for BF4 was a lot worse. It had 0 players on steam at launch.
- @UnCazualGamer Worst BF ever.
@Tank2042Man What's debunked? Surely not the stat I gave you, it has a source. Last week? This game is still dying.
@Noodlesocks Thanks for the laughs XD

You tell me or OP.. Worst launch ever.
I can see by my Origin's friend list. And this is how it looks like in numbers:
BFBC2: 13 people owns (but this was pre-origin time, guess few guys just were out of battlefield after BC2)
BF3: 20 people
BF4: 26 people
BF1: 22 people
BFV: 19 people
BF2042: 13people.
I would say, 95% of those people were buying, like me, deluxe editions - to be sure to have everything game offers, as it was sure all will be playing huge amount of time.
The second thing. How many and how often are playing now 2042. Basically - a few. Out of 13 people, if once or twice per week I see 5-6 people playing this crap - it is like celebration 🙂
Majority of time (incl. weekends, which were usually prime time for playing BF) it is up to max 3 people, if anyone. 3 weeks after launch, and there are some days, when noone is playing it already.
I know this is small sample, but giving the nature of players involved - it says a lot about current state of 2042, and its reception in PC community. It wasn’t that bad. Relax.
