You See..
This is the state the game shoul`ve released in. This many maps and weapons, the combat and all. You would`ve dominated the whole fps genre if you were to give us this exact game when it first came o...
@NutcrusherrAfter the final reworks of discarded and hourglass we’re close.
I still think the foundations need some love however. Things like the servers, squad management options, server browser, live service model and a specialists tone down.
I really hope they stick to a gritty theme and tone down the goofy character models and tone down the cheese from the specialists abilities at the very least in the next instalments.
I’d much prefer to pay extra for some different DLC maps at this stage of the game like naval, CQC and some true urban maps like the BF4 model instead of getting another wide open playground like flashpoint that plays like the rest of the maps we already have. I’d even pay for a more portal content. But any content is welcome I suppose since it’s lacking in this game compared to others.
I've come back after a long hiatus, played at launch and hated the game.
Now I am enjoying it with friends for what it is.
It's far from perfect. The lack of basic elements from previous titles stands out like a sore thumb, as you mentioned.
Server browser, platoon/clan implementation.
The maps and wide open spaces. Give us some built up areas like the maps of old that people loved. Fighting in the streets of Karkand,
Better ability to combat vehicles too would be nice.
I'm keen too see what they plan for the title after the final season, and i suspect they are working on the next title already, which is great, but they shouldn't throw the towel in just yet on 2042, there is defiantely fun and enjoyment to be had.
More maps, more weapons, hoping they do a big content dump into portal at least of some iconic maps.
