100% CPU Usage issue that shouldn't exist in the first place.

i7-9700k

RTX3080

more ram than i'd ever need

Been experiencing this since first install in S2. I've done everything this thread and previous threads have mentioned as fixes. No success. Can only play Rush due to the CPU constantly maxing out. Every other game runs perfectly fine on highest settings. My hardware is plenty enough to handle this game.

    @InTheThickness yeah youre gpu could run the game, youre cpu need to do some work with windows , game and all background apps running 😉

      I've tried to run with every unneeded task killed on fresh windows boot with a single 2k res monitor. CPU is chilling with or without all the background tasks running until BF2042 is launched. No difference in performance with or without BG tasks.

        But make sure windows and system, drivers are all uptodate before ya gonna use AtlasOs.

        It will fully strip windows , so no unneeded apps/processes ect ect ect !
        Its a real performance boost -->> but ya loose some options, example Paint, Windows uipdate, ect ect ect !
