@EA_Leeuw I can still play the Xbox one version but it keeps forcing me to install the trial if I want to play the series x version. So in my store there was the Xbox one copy, Xbox series X copy, and an Xbox one/Xbox series X copy (the one I purchased). I’ll attach a picture of it.
@p3kl055xt9zg, ah, I think that I now understand where the confusion is from. The game that you have is only the Xbox One version, not Xbox One & Xbox Series (so no Cross-Gen version). These were only sold digitally.
You might get confused by what is written on the Xbox physical CD box. It says Xbox One at the top, and in a small black bar it says Xbox One - Series X. This means that the version of the game that you physically own is backwards compatible on the Xbox Series X, since it can run Xbox One games. However, it is not actually the Series X version that you have physically, as those were only sold separately physical or in a bundle digital.
This is an image of how the CD box looks for the Xbox Series X.
More information about the versions of the game can be found in an older AHQ post.
