50% GPU usage only during gameplay and blurry textures

On the startup screen, match loading screen and lobby, the GPU appears to be used normally, with usage reaching 90%, power usage also appears normal (185w). However during gameplay, the GPU generally remains at an average of 50% and is impossible to go above 60%, power usage is around 115w, even though I tried switching from low to ultra settings.

I don't think the processor is limiting performance, in any game it can use my GPU without any problems, and if the processor was the problem, it wouldn't be able to run the GPU at 90% during the loading screen and lobby.

Even on ultra, the textures are extremely blurry and lacking in detail. When performance drops, there is a delay on the keyboard, it's as if I press "W" and it takes 1 second for the command to be activated, this only happens during intense moments of the game, or when I'm 64vs64 in a place without intensity. I'm sad because I bought this game two days ago, I gave it to myself as a birthday present, and I can't enjoy it.

I have the following hardware:

Ryzen 3900

RTX 2060 12GB

64GB DDR4

1TB Samsung 970 Evo Plus

B450M Steel Legend

XPG Core Reactor 850w

Updated nvidia Studio drivers

No thermal throttling in CPU/GPU

Things I tried:

Clean boot, with all initials disabled in task manager and MSConfig.

Force constant CPU usage at maximum performance

Disable/enable SMT

Enable power plan for maximum performance

Disable EA overlay

Disable OneDrive sync

Enable and disable DLSS, Future Frame Rendering, and REFLEX

I tried enabling and disabling DLDSR(DSR)

Vsync disabled

In user.cfg I used I'm using I already tried using 12/24, 12/12 for ProcessorCount and MaxProcessorCount respectively (my processor is 12/24).

DX12 enable and disable

Input raw disable and enable

@leonardoleonwf  Are all cores available at youre system ?
Didnt manage system settings and set a customized ammount of available cores?

    check this:
    https://smallbusiness.chron.com/set-number-cores-windows-29171.html

ps did ya set windows in gamemode ?

Did set the game in HIGH PRIORITY MODE in windows settings ?

Did select correct powerplan at settinmgs/controlpanel?

Ya could use ULTIMATE POWERPLAN (for win10 and win11)

    https://www.howtogeek.com/368781/how-to-enable-ultimate-performance-power-plan-in-windows-10/

    Cheers

    Yes, all cores/threads are available.

I've used gamemode enabled and disabled, it didn't work.
Yes, I've tried giving it high priority in the settings.
Yes, the power plan has already been switched to balanced, high performance, and Ultimate.

    None of that solved it.

GPU usage is currently higher, at around 90%, and its power usage is also around 150w.

However, even above 60fps the players and my character run in slow motion and there's a lot of input lag. This doesn't happen in BF5/1 or any other game, only in BF2042.

@leonardoleonwf  Do ya run the latest version of HWINFO64 ?
Run it , and display all cores , to check MHZ , TEMPS, VOLTAGE
    post a screenshot of it!

Everything in slow motion, there are more topics about this issue , that game is in slowmotion mode some how !

    cheers

ps Ingame goto Options, General, Network
Now at SHOW NETWORK PERFORMANCE BAR set it to ALWAYS.
During game make some screenshots of it !

@leonardoleonwf Yes , the screenshot from the game, does show high TN value from 204.
This is client related , game get sluggy , slow , laggy blablabla.
It can be game/windows ettings, but also hardware that maybe need some "different" configuration.
Any OC done ? for cpu , memory , did check youre hardware ssd check, memory check, cpu check?

    Cheers

I don't overclock. I have the impression that they didn't optimize for ryzen 3900 which is an oem version of ryzen 3900x. The hardware I use runs any game/benchmark within normal and stable scores. I'm not going to buy a new processor just because one game doesn't run it well, so I'm going to uninstall the game.

I noticed that there are countless players with the same problem where the characters run in slow motion, maybe this is one of the reasons for the failure of this game, people think that their PCs cannot runs it fine, when in fact this is a game optimization issue.

Unfortunately, I paid for a game that I can't enjoy, and the company refuses to provide any kind of support.

The next Battlefield may be amazing and well optimized, but after this experience, buying anything from this company would be a lack of self-respect.

Thank you to those who tried to help.

@leonardoleonwf  ya could strip down youre windows to a light version by disableing background processes and apps.
    Or use https://atlasos.net/
Ya can use it at the windows ya got right now to make it a light versions.
It will end, reconfigure lot of processes and apps , also some apps, processes will be uninstalled.
This will give more performance to youre system.

Give it an eye , and update us if ya use it and what it does for you.
I can tell ya , this atlasos is certainly worth to try 😉

    Cheers

edit: ps did already reset bios , do a cmos reset , this is done by connecting 2 pins at youre motherboard for some x seconds , when power cable is disconnected.
Aftre bios reset ya need to reconfig bios settings. (check motherboard manual for the CMOS CLR , CMOS RESET , CLEAR BIOS option)

Now test game again ! 😉
