After newest update game crashes randomly

people are reporting game crashes during gameplay. look into it.

Hello @Neodroid17,

I had the same issue, after a quick reinstall everything worked fine. You should also try repairing the game inside of the EA app.

    @Banester & @Neodroid17, can you please try a full reinstall of the game and let us know if the game still crashes?

      Yes also crashed here , 2 times.
      Delete bf2042 cache folder, no crashes anymore, yet !

      C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\BattlefieldGameData.kin-release.Win32

      Sorry but at this stage of the game a full reinstall is ridiculous DICE should be able to quickly issue a patch to fix the issue.

      I did a repair game and crashed 2nd map.  Just deleted cache, we will see what happens now.

        I deleted cache and did repair and it still crashed.

        fyi, i'm up to 4 crashes without a crashed exe in 2 days.  All times, it didn't happen in the first map that i played.
