Can you share a DxDiag when you have the chance? You can find more information on how to grab one at the EA Help website.
Once you have the text file please attach it to this thread. Thanks!
This happens with 5700XT as well. Same error. Mid game will just crash out. Extremely annoying. DxDiag attached.

Thanks! I appreciate that.
Have you been watching your hardware usage while BF2042 is running? Are you seeing anything out of the ordinary there leading up to the crashes?
Hey Kent,
No out of the ordinary activity noticed. My GPU is sitting at a relatively decent heat for this type of game and no concerning vital spikes from what I've been able to discern. I am able to play other demanding games without issue and right now my issues seem to just stem from BF2042. Since update #2 I have noticed a higher than previous amount of crashes than before. Prior, it would be once in like a 5 hour session... maybe. But now I will consistently crash every 2-3 games. And never at the same point in the match

Thank you! I appreciate the info.
I've seen some cases where DXGI errors like this can point to driver issues. If possible, can you try a clean uninstall and reinstall of your drivers to see if that helps? Let me know if you're still running into any crashes after that. Thanks!
Hey Kent,
I actually just did that recently because of this exactly. I completely wiped the drivers and reinstalled and it did not help unfortunately

I appreciate you giving it a shot.
Do you currently have Radeon Boost enabled in your Radeon software? If so, can you try disabling that to test and see if it makes a difference? A few people mentioned that they were having trouble while it was enabled, so I'm curious if that might make a difference here as well.
Welcome to the club buddy
P.S - Don't waste your time troubleshooting the problem because it's not an issue on your end and thousands of people has the exact same problem.
No boost on. Barebones settings since Radeon options have been known to cause excessive amounts of lag at times. All I've got is what I need for freesync.
While I understand many people are also having this issue, it is still beneficial to work through this process so the developers can try to pin down what it is and release a fix. Just spouting off "EA isn't fixing it, look at all these accounts" isn't conducive to getting an issue fixed in software. The more data you collect, the more it shows how many are affected. This process allows them to weed out cases from the data where it might just be a less technically adept user missing an important step. If 700/1000 people haven't updated drivers you are left with 300 cases that might actually have an issue, or could be a vagrancy of their hardware. However, if 1000/1000 are having this issue, it's more likely to be a systemic issue with the software itself. So, respectively let the EA community managers do their job and collect the data for their team. Do not discourage users from submitting issues. And lastly, be patient. Obviously it is extremely * that a released game has this many crashing issues, but this is the hand that was dealt and it will not get better by forgoing using the processes available to us to let the team know we the gamers need help
