Anticheat use too much CPU
Hello, Battlefield 2042's Anticheat uses more CPU (or rather the entirety) than the game itself. When you join any game, the Anticheat consumes the entire amount of CPU. You can't disable it in the...
It's ridiculous that anticheat software is using more CPU than the game itself. I’ve played plenty of newer and more demanding titles, and nothing else wrecks my system like this. After all the criticism at launch, where people were already having hardware issues, you'd think this would've been fixed by now.
EA and DICE need to address this immediately. It's not just an inconvenience; it's making the game unplayable. We paid for a working experience, not one that puts our PCs through the wringer just to run anticheat.
@MarcusUno Actually, what's more important is the fact that this is coming up to two and a half years old, and they still don't have a handle on it.
That should be an embarrassment for them on its own, let alone everything else that's happening after all of this time.
It smacks of people not knowing what they are doing.
Hi @AntiCheatWard ,
One of my friend have 20-40%, i have around 12,5% from the start of the game. Some Steam posts related to that issue https://steamcommunity.com/app/1517290/discussions/0/4852156227490770865/ https://steamcommunity.com/app/1517290/discussions/0/4852156227493165934/.
Thanks for the additional information, we're investigating. This has been difficult to reproduce on our side and isn't consistent, but we've got a machine finally that can reproduce the issue and are digging in.
