Audio cuts out after previous update :(

I have the G435 and it cuts out, but I have a ticket in with Logitech as I thought it may be bluetooth related

After more than 1 month on this topic concerning audio problems, no answer from EA/DICE so they seem to dont care about it.

A friend once had this problem in BattleField V when running discord and BFV on a 4th generation I5 CPU. The reason for this was that the CPU was heavily loaded (100%), which caused it to just cut off the sound in discord. After purchasing an i7 of the same generation, the problem stopped, because the processor had enough processing power to handle BFV and Discord at the same time. Could this be the reason? Have you tried some OSD Monitoring to check the CPU usage in real time ? Obviously you will have to use Desktop Overlay Host because directly in BF2042 the display of MSi Afterburner + Riva Statistics server does not work.

so the hypothesis of a too weak processor has been disproven. So apparently EA ANTI CHEAT is disturbing something, because the game itself, as a game, I doubt it would have an impact on the sound.

However, try to enter commands to relieve one thread, it is best to save them in the user.cfg file so as not to enter them every time, maybe it will work, what's the harm? If you have already tested it and it does not help, ignore this suggestion.

It helped me with Winamp, the songs stopped interrupting after entering the game with these commands, 1 thread less than I currently have

If you are ambitious, you can try updating the bios, but I give a 10% probability that it will solve something, 90% it is the fault of poor optimization of BF2042 and its EA Anti Cheat.

Try to set discord.exe as a high priority - maybe it will help.

with winamp.exe helps in my case :P

I don't use discord while playing BF2042, so I don't know if it will help.

I try your tips to uninstall/reinstall ea anticheat.

Then try to lower the buffersize to 128 like before but it does the same crash sound than before.

So this tips didn't work for people using asio interface.

I am having the same problem with the Astro A50.

Right now I am playing on a laptop and I am using an USB Hub (Anker USB Hub) to connect my headphones.

My guess is the anticheat system doesn't like USB hubs or similar devices.

AntiCheat uninstall didn't help

Lowering sound quality in the system settings to 16b 44100 didn't help

Turning off everything, leaving only BF2042 didn't help

While in the game:

CPU load (i7, 9k): 100%

GPU load (MSI rtx2080): 90-98%

Who will be answering that the game is no longer playable? NVIDIA or BF devs?

Can anyone tell, by the way, what's the proven method to roll back NVIDIA on Win10 please?
