Back to EA launcher/steam on startup

My issue is a whitescreen (BFV) or blackscreen (BF2042) with no follow up error message, the game closing itself and then back to the EA launcher. It's happening to me on ANY EA Anticheat games (BF2042,BFV, etc..) I've tried every single fix on here and the fixes the support gave me, the only answer I could get was that they'll forward the issue to their team and that I should just wait and pray basically. I can play BF1 without any issues btw.

The problem is somehow related to the anticheat itself probably blocking access but it's not on our end, I know i'm not the only one with this issue so please let's make us seen so they actually acknowledge us for once, we payed for a game we can't even play, we should be vocal about it, you deserve to have what you payed for and not troubleshoot for hours on end to try and fix an issue that shouldn't be there in the first place, know u aren't alone.

If someone out there has found an actual fix for us relate to the anticheat not booting up the game I'd appreciate it if you could share it so we can join all of you in the battlefield !  Have a great day/night, take care ! 🙂

You're going to need to do a little research on how to utilize the RTX 4050 graphics for your laptop. On some laptops connecting an external display and closing the lid (not using the laptop display) is enough.

  • It may not be anticheat. The games go thru a lot of initialization steps while the anticheat window is displayed that don't have to do with anticheat. I've seen multiple posts of configuration issues (e.g. on-board graphics enabled) causing crashes while the anticheat window is displayed.

I suggest you attach a DXDIAG report, as someone may spot something causing your issue.

Your DXDIAG report shows you have on-board graphics enabled, as I suggested. You need to disable that in BIOS, so the game is using your dedicated graphics card.

Also, while you believe you are running BF1 OK, you are not. Look at the Diagnostics section of the report. Hopefully, disabling on-board graphics will help with those issues too.

  • I'm not the brightest with BIOS/UEFI, can't seem to find this settings to be enabled or disabled, I don't have many options in my advanced tab so i'm limited to what I can do sadly..

  • Manually disabling my Intel display graphics did the trick, it was the solution to my problem, thank you so much !
