Battle field cannot fidn me or accept freind request

Hi, 

i like battlefield for what it is it is a nice break from cod or other sweaty games. however i have my Xbox and steam linked to my EA account  i am tryiing to play with people on pc and they are on other platforms  and i cannot add or accept friend requests on the battlefield 2042 game, i am trying to play with my brother and one of my best friends we have tried almost all week and we cannot add each other, my friend requests send on the game and they never see them, furthermore they cannot even add me or search me up i have tried everything from contacting support and calling and chatting is there a bug ? or what because i cannot stand that i cant add people on a game and they just don't see it. someone please help so i can just play on my pc
