Hello,
my game crashes during or directly after startup. Sometimes I get a directX error, sometimes nothing at all.
My drivers are up to date, windows is up to date (fresh install too), I have no overclocks applied, I tried repairing the gamefiles, I trief disabling the ingame overlay from EA, I tried running it as admin, system requirements are more than met.
What else can I try?

having the issues for nearly 4 months. Sometimes I've to try 10 times to launch the game. Many ppl in the forums have this problem. Some fixes ppl suggest worked for a while and then they won't work anymore, even though nothing has changed.
Check for your internet security blocking any tasks/process from EA App (EA App itself, the EAC an BF2042.exe). Some ppl suggest reinstalling EAC worked for them, for otherts it didn't. Just keep trying.
@LowFPSRussiai had the same issue till now and some times no crashes at all i just ignore it just don't open the game immediately after you open your PC wait for 3-5mins after 2-3 crash game will be stable no crashes till im tired
