I’m also having this issue.
I noticed it double launches as well.
two bf2042s, i close this one -
“unexpected error. (Another launcher is already running)” one.
other launches and encounter -
“Game client encountered an application error. (Error Code: 25)”.
Restarted computer,
Closed, reopened, redownloaded Origin,
Repaired / Verified integrity,
^ fixed but once and stopped working after game closed.
windows 10 updated,
Drivers updated,
firewall exceptions made (bf2042),
Downloaded C++ Redistributables,
^ fixed but only once and stopped working after game closed.
Uninstalled, reinstalled, repaired EAC,
^ fixed only once and stopped working after game closed.
can we please get some help?
@DIOZIDE I got the same problem with the launcher starting up twice. I even went to checking my system for corrupted files and deleting my temp files. Just going to wait now as well and hoping the fix will be soon.

Still not fixed 20.11.21.
Can't even launch the game and thinking of refunding even tho i don't want to.
