The game freezes the crashes to desktop with no error messages or reason why. I can maybe get 2 or 3 full games a day then it starts crashing after 4-5 minutes on EVERY game after.I've repaired the files in the EA App 5 times. I've repaired the anti cheat several times. I have 1gig internet, 2080RTX with Ryzen 7 series CPU and 32gb of RAM. Everything on my side (connectivity & system) is fine and working. This game is becoming unplayable now. I can't find any answers that actually help players out.

I've tried other things from previous posts like clean start up etc. just dont know what's wrong with it. No other games crashes like this. I've done a fill reinstall, repaired etc. nothing works for me.

I don't know why I still bother playing this game , it's because me and my mate are great at winning hazard zone , getting the CTD no error to desktop and earlier whole PC froze had to do a full force reset on pc case.Same issue that's been ruining my gaming experience since i upgraded to i9 13900k + rtx 4080. On and off the result is the same a miserable experience these devs can't fix.

@H4ngingTree Hey, have you checked to see if it's producing any crash logs when it CTD's? they should be located in your documents directory "Documents\Battlefield 2042\CrashDumps" ,to open them you would need to download WinDbg as they are MDMP files, but they should help in pinpointing what is causing the crashes.

I had the same thing happening last night in a couple rounds. I've never experienced it before then. It was at totally random points during the match, game just freezes for a second with sound kind of fizzing then closes. I did do a repair of the game and restart of my system after the second crash then played for about 5-10 minutes but haven't had ample time to test it out. I'm thinking if this hit a few people last night and hasn't happened before it's a server related issue and not on our end. The system I'm playing on is a rather fresh month old build with no previous issues, good temps and well within specs. It has had no previous trouble with the game even on the build before it. I will test it some more tonight but nothing on the system has changed on my end and I've been playing nightly without any issues except the ATT thing the last few weeks which seems rectified as I have used a VPN since early last week.

I've done that but I'm not sure what I'm looking for.Is there a section I should be looking in?

@H4ngingTree AMD software is software to set some system config.
For example to boost (oc) system aka cpu !

Its possible that this software is auto set to boost (turbo) system what could cause issues !!

I disabled the iGPU and dont have any boosts etc running.
Had a decent period where I managed to get 5 or 6 games with no crashes yesterday. Today, I can't make it 5 minutes into a game. Tried 3 times and desktopped me every time.
Don't know what else I can do. I repaired the files etc too.

@H4ngingTree could ya check if any AMD software is installed, example ADRENALIN Editon , ect ect ect.
Disable as many software/apps from booting with windows.
Cleanboot youre system and test game !

j'ai exactement le même problème, le jeux se fige au bout de 3 a 10 minutes, écran noir puis un son qui grésille en boucle obliger d'alt F4 sa fais plus de 3 mois que je cherche la solution en vain. Je me sens arnaquer pour le prix que je l'ai payé. Je suis sous RTX 3060Ti amd Ryzen 7 3700x 8-core 32gb de ram. Tous les jeux auxquelles je joue, ne crash pas comme batlefield le fais. INADMISSIBLE POUR UNE STRUCTURE COMME EA DE S'EN BATTRE LES * A CE POINT POURTANT Y'A DIX MILLES TOPIC QUI EN PARLE!!
Et il ose nous sortir une saison 6 "final" alors que votre jeux ne tourne même pas correctement ! même BF5 tourne mieux
