Same problem......... Just bought a month of EA Play to try this pos out.... It's been a technical issue hell for the last 3-4 days. I get either a black screen on PC or a connection issue after almost every match. Both are only solved by restarting the game.......... black screen only via Alt + F4. It's also infinite. There's no return to menu for me, and the game isn't even "frozen" (in the technical sense) because the numbers my FPS overlay are fluctuating.
It's the game. It's always the game.
Just ran into the crap myself. Plenty of posts on Reddit too since this latest patch.
