Battlefield 2042 and EA vs EU Directive

More than 2 weeks , the matching in game doesnt work for thousands ppl .

The game has been non‑functional for more than two weeks, and the provider has issued no official communication or explanation.

Under EU Directive 2019/770 on digital content and digital services, the trader must ensure proper functionality, provide updates, and fix service disruptions within a reasonable time....

Failure to restore functionality and failure to inform consumers constitute a breach of the provider’s obligations under EU consumer law.

Because the service I paid for is unavailable and the trader has not provided a remedy, I am exercising my right to withdraw from the contract.

I request a full refund due to the providers non‑compliance with EU consumer protection rules.

Thanks for answer

Players who bought the game during a sale and still couldn’t play it at all should absolutely be refunded. This is embarrassing for EA.

  • I hope you pursue this refund - it might awaken EA but I doubt it. EA makes so much money off so many games and is managed with such utter ineptitude by such utterly useless managers (a bit like Gibson  the guitar maker that nearly went bankrupt due to the siphoning off profits by corrupt management) that they just don't give a **bleep**!  They have plenty of cash to employ people to fix this problem but they are too busy counting their money.

    same.

If they won't even attempt to fix it or even give the slightest indication that they are aware of the issue it borders heavily on being a scam. Folks, do not buy this digital garbage. You will get absolutely nothing for your money. It is technically unplayable. There is no actual game inside this exe..
