battlefield 2042 can't run in fullscreen anymore

hey i am new to the forum and i just login to discuss an issue in battlefield 2042 i am playing the game for almost a year without any issue until now i am facing a problem that the game does not switch to NVIDIA GPU and it start in windowed mode and when i go to display settings the menu show full screen mode to full screen and below that the rest of the three settings are blank like full screen device,full screen resolution and refresh rate all of them are blank if i switch off hybrid mode then the game run on NVIDIA GPU fine but i have always play this game in hybrid mode without any issue and i can still play other games like call of duty mw2 in hybrid mode without any issue.one thing i have to mention that since i upgrade my laptop memory to 32gb after that i ran the game starting the above issue i don't know if this is related to the problem or not.one guy on you tube has the same exact issue,please help me on this thanks

laptop legion 5 17ach6

AMD GPU RX VEGA series

NVIDIA 1650gtx 4gb

ram 32gb dual rank transcendence

Lenovo vantage software installed

    Hi guys, 

    I have the same problem, i.e the game starts in windowed mode and even if you maximize it or hit Alt+Enter it just plings and nothing happens.

    BUT!

    For me it work by clicking any other icon on the start menu of windows and then clicking the BF icon again. It seems Windows 11 has some issues

    letting go of control and allowing stuff to go full screen in some cases.

    Edit:
    I've told a number of friends with the issue about this way of doing it and it has worked for all of them. So fingers crossed.

    I'm having the same issue, has never happened to me before yesterday @EA_Atic. 

    I can swap to Fullscreen in the menu but it just seems to actually do whatever the last setting was and it won't actually display in fullscreen (Windowed and Borderless both work). Alt+Enter does this same thing. Fullscreen just doesn't work anymore.

    I have a similiar system and the same problem. Nothing worked. In the end it turned out that when I removed one of my two 16 GB RAM modules, the fullscreen works again.

    Don't ask me why or how or whatever... I just can tell that it worked for me.

    I have no idea what is causing this... the fact that I had two RAM modules or the size or maybe something complete different.

    It worked when I had only one 16 GB RAM module and did not after I added a second one. Aaand it doesn't matter which one I remove it works as long as it is just a single one in use.

    I think in the end it is just the game itself that causes this issue because of the situation, but not the situation being the issue.

    Same thing happened to me, tried to update my bios and it still hasn't been working. You have any other ideas?
