Battlefield 2042 cause damage to GPU
Dear EA Support,
I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to provide further details on the ongoing issue I am facing while playing Battlefield 2042, despite exhaustive attempts at troubleshooting.
After investing 2-3 hours into gameplay, my monitor abruptly turned off, and my computer became unresponsive. In an attempt to rectify the situation, I switched to an alternative monitor, reinstalled graphics drivers, experimented with both old and new driver versions, reinstalled necessary libraries, and meticulously cleared caches. Despite these efforts, the problem persisted.
Undeterred, I took the drastic step of reinstalling Windows, setting up everything anew. However, to my disappointment, the issue remains unresolved. This exhaustive troubleshooting process, which included various monitor configurations, driver installations, library reinstalls, and even a complete operating system reinstall, has not alleviated the problem.
To summarize the steps taken:
- Monitor Change: Attempted gameplay on different monitors.
- Driver Manipulation: Reinstalled graphics drivers, experimented with both old and new versions.
- Library Reinstallation: Reinstalled necessary libraries for the game.
- Cache Clearance: Methodically cleared caches associated with the game.
MY PC:
RTX 3060TI
i5 10400F
16GB RAM
1TB NVME SSD
The persistence of the problem even after reinstalling Windows indicates that the issue is not localized to the operating system but may be inherent to the interaction between Battlefield 2042 and my system configuration.
I am prepared to provide any additional information, logs, or diagnostic details you may require to investigate this matter further. Your assistance in resolving this persistent issue is greatly appreciated.
Given the substantial time and effort invested in troubleshooting, as well as the resulting damage to my video card, I kindly request your assistance in resolving this matter promptly. Additionally, I would like to discuss the possibility of compensation for the incurred damage to my hardware. I understand that technical issues can be complex, and I appreciate your dedication to resolving them.
Best regards,
Vadym Koshka
