Hi Everyone,a few days ago I bought Battlefield 2042 on Origin/EA. Since then I have not been able to start it once, as it crashes on startup imediatly everytime, no matter what I do. I don't even get an Error code.I've reinstalled it several times, repaired it several times. I've repaired and reinstalled Easy Anti Cheat several times and all other Easy Anti Cheat Games I own are running smoth. I've disabled all other running services and programs. I have the latest GPU Driver. I have even reset my entire machine. Now I'm running out of options and have no clue what else to try to get it running.Any help is appreciated.

@Rokebo73 I attached a dxdiag as requested. To answer your questions:I bought it for the EA and Origin Platform, tired both launchers also already.Yes I see the EAC loading window and right after the loading bar completes, it crashes.I did both, repair and reinstall EAC.I also launched the gameplatform and the game itself as an admin.

Hey, could you fix it in the meantime? I have the same issue now after the latest game update. Attempting to launch the game causes the PC to crash after the loading bar finished. Other demanding games like assassin's creed or cyberpunk don't cause that issue.

it is unacceptable that the game does not launch after more than two years of its release! why does no developer or moderator intervene to explain how to solve this problem which affects a large part of the players? They don't care about the attendance of their most recent FPS? It's self-sabotage, right? Because it works very well, 50% bots in every party every night lol

Do you see EAC windows and then ends loading/starting bf2042?
Got eac repaired/reinstalled ?
Launch gameplatform as an admin ?

Hey, I've had the same issue and after formatting my 2 hard drives/reinstalling windows, buying a new SSD and installing on that one, I FINALLY found out what was happening. It would get to "connecting to servers" & it would just stutter for a second and close without any message or notifications. I did everything the forums said to do, watched Youtube vids and NOTHING worked. So, after I reinstalled it on the new hardware & formatted the PC/reinstalled Windows, I tried launching it and the EXACT spot where it crashed on me, a message popped up asking if the game can go through my firewall. I don't know why it wasn't popping up before, but that was 100% the issue. I posted a photo of a SAMPLE of what it looked like. P.S I know this was a bit extreme but I like any excuse for a fresh start on a PC :D.

I'm on a PC and had the same problem that started last night. What has currently worked was to go into Windows Defender; change/update app firewall permissions. Find Battlefield in the list and allow BOTH public and private (both chk boxes checked). Select OK and then restart Battlefield. This worked for me right away without a computer restart.
