Battlefield 2042 Crashing to Desktop (No error or warning) Me too

Hi,

I am experiencing this same problem since the launch of Season 2 now.

You can see the specs of my pc in the DxDiag.

First I thought it was a overheating problem of the CPU while this was running at 100 degrees Celcius.

This week I put in a new Liquid cooling system (Xilence) and now when i play the game it runs at 50 - 55 degrees. so thats just fine.

I manualy installed the latest Nvidia driver

I looked on Youtube for video's to optimize the CPU, did That also.

I got rid of all the overlays ( Discord, Overwolf, and the one in the EA app )

I tried to run the game without using MSI afterburner, that did not help eather. I use MSI after burner just to control the fans. I do not overclock.

When I start up my pc and then the game i can play maybe one or two matches and then the game freezes for a sec. and crashes me back on desktop.Without an errorcode.

When I try to get back in, after the loading screen the game crashes direct and I cannot play anymore.

I have no clue what to do to fix this...

I am gonna check my bios version because I has updated that to ver. F10 but in the DxDiag it says ver. 5

Please Help me

Have you guys figurred this one out ?

I also tried to repair the gamefiles, but no errors were found.

I even removed Origin and start the game up from the EA app.
is there anymore info you guys need ?
I checked my bios ver and indeed its the latest one ver. 10F
I'll be happy to provide more info if you can solve this...

Would the .mpmd files out of the crash dump help?

Oke I saw In another thread here that we can also close down the Nvidea Overlay, so I tried that also beside the overlays from Discord, overwolf and EA-app which I also closed down.

( disabled them )

At first I Thought oke this is going oke, I mean after 10 minutes no crash. But unfortunatly after 17 minutes it crashed to desktop again.

So closing down the overlay of Nvidea does not matter, as does the other overlays not. because the crashes still happen.

I attached the crashdump file of today's crash, I hope that will help.

I have over 650 hours in this game and I would realy realy want to get back on the Battlefield.

Oh crap you cannot attache the .mdmp files here...

Post 4:

Well I tried to play this game again yesterday, after I followed and applied all the settings advice from this thread :

answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/BF-2042-Tips-Part-I-Settings-Comprehensive-PC-Settings-Gu...

I managed to play for 20 minutes before the game crashed again. I was so hopefull that it did not crash after 15 minutes. But unfortunatly after 5 more minutes it did again.

With the new update I hoped that the crashing would be over...  i really hope @EA_Atic that you guys can fix this soon, I miss playing this game!
