Battlefield 2042 Crossplay issues

When I try to play the all-out warfare modes, breakthrough and conquest, on my Xbox Series X, I can only seem to find 64 player lobbies. I understand that conquest is supposed to be 128 players on this console, and I am extremely disappointed that I cannot find any of these games. I am aware that there is a grouping for gamers on previous consoles, which appears to be what I have been grouped in with, even though I have the newest generation of Xbox. To support this even further, I cannot find my brother’s ea Id or add him to my game and he plays on PC. Again, I believe that battlefield 2042 is not recognizing that I am on the new console and am getting stuck with the limited experience. As the 128 player lobbies were one of the main attractions to this game, I would like it to be fixed ASAP.

It's because the Xbox Series X is backwards compatible with Xbox One games. You can still download and play Xbox One games on the new consoles.

If you bought the Xbox Series X version of the game digitally you should be able to install either the Xbox One or Xbox Series X version. If you bought the Xbox One version I'm afraid that wouldn't include the Series X version.

  • @EA_Kent Yes that was the issue. Why is the xbox one version available on the series x? Now I have to buy the other version?
