Battlefield 2042 Desync In Every Game

My game de-syncs for several seconds at a time and i can still move and shoot and such but it doesnt register and then soon reverts me back to where I should have been. It happens every single game. I am on a 2GB/s fiber WiFi 6E network and my wifi card support this. It does not happen in any other game, but when it happens my discord also loses connection for the same amount of time. Again, this and discord only experience this in Battlefield 2042. I have attached a video example with network graphs (https://youtu.be/0OwQl6REaV8), I have attached a DxDiag output, and finally a comprehensive output from Speccy of my system specs, running processes, tcp connections etc.

Quick look at specs:

  • 13th Gen Intel Core i7-13700KF (microcode applied)
  • TUF GAMING Z690-PLUS WIFI (LGA1700)
  • 32 GB DDR5 (4800 MT/s)
  • NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER (MSI)
  • Two m.2 SSD's (1TB and 2TB)

I've tried:

  1. Reinstalling the game
  2. Verifying game files
  3. Updating graphics drivers
  4. Rolling graphics drivers back
  5. Ethernet connection
  6. WiFi connection
  7. Every built in troubleshooter and system file checker scan known to man
  8. I updated my PC from Windows 10 to 11 to see if it helps...it didn't

My friends do not experience this issue and it's at the point now where I can no longer play BF2042 reliably.

  • did you try a speed thest on oacle when u get stuff like that so to see if your internet is the problem .. im shure its not your internet! i know the game is just randomly breaking..
i got the Desync and 30ms ... i got crashes with no error and then i got a bluescreen .. But i can render Videos and Record Stream and Play games on max settings .. but i cant play Battlefield 2042 whitout crashes .. but BF4 runs fine the best runing game EA ever made ..

  • @killergoose75 Ya could update ya bios to 3801, for the latest intel base/guide line settings for your cpu.
Ya also need to do bios settings again if ya did update bios (dont forget to set the XMP profile).
Did ya also update Intel ME before ya updated bios ?
What resolution settings do ya play bf2042 , what monitor do ya use ? HDMI ? DP cable <- dp version ?

    Cheers
