Hello Steeve_BF. I tried doing what you suggested and I still get the same error message. When I launch BF 2042.
Okay,
Can you try completely resetting your network settings and restarting the PC ?
- Go to Window Settings → Network & Internet
- At the bottom, click Advanced network settings OR just scroll down and you can see Network reset (it's depend window version)
- Click Network reset
- Click Reset now
Let met know ! 😄

I tried that and I still get the same error message.
Its very weird to me because I could run BF6 Beta no problem and I can run BF 5 no problem so what's wrong with BF 2042?

Can you try this :
- Open Command Prompt as Administrator:
- Press Windows + R, type "cmd".
- Run the following commands:
Copy and paste each command, pressing Enter after each line:netsh winsock
reset netsh
int ip reset
netsh advfirewall reset
netsh winhttp
reset proxy
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /flushdns - Power cycle your devices:
- Shut down your PC completely.
- Unplug the power cables from both your PC and your modem/router for about 2 minute.
- Restart your devices:
- Plug in the modem/router and wait until it’s fully online.
- Plug in your PC and boot it up.
After all that check if the problem is solved.
Let me know !😊- Brazilstriker19917 hours agoSeasoned Newcomer
Ok I tried that. I still get the same error message when I just launched the game. Also not all of those commands worked only some of them worked. Any other ideas? This is very strange. I now get the same error message when I try to launch BF 5 as well. BF 6 beta worked perfectly fine. Maybe because that one is launching only from steam? Games that seem to need to launch through EA app are the only games on my computer that do not launch.
