@Rokebo73There is no need for so much troubleshooting. The latest windows update 22H2 broke some gaming experience for NVIDIA users. You can either roll back the update, if it's not too late (you have 10 days), or I read that you can try to disable some NVIDIA service to fix the issue. I will try it later on. I was dumb enough to install the update instantly when it got available. For now on I will definitely wait half a month minimum for those update. They brake something every time.
Disabling "Nvidia FrameView SDK" service in Windows Services did it for me.
It disables the NVIDIA Performance Overlay but the game feels smooth again.
I hope for a hotfix soon. It's been about 10 days already.

- soupy483 years agoSeasoned Hotshot@AEIDOLONE Thank you from me as well. Problem solved. Was not able to roll back the Windows update, but I disabled the NVIDIA service.
- 3 years ago@AEIDOLONE Tried it, sadly didn't help for me.

Looks like I spoke to soon, the stutter is back. Maybe time to go back to the older titles, I give up....

@d4vidi4nits possbile some display settings getting reset when ya start game or use ALT+TAB during game.
Check your display settings, change it and apply , and then set back to youre settings ! In options / display screen it shows your settings , while its running at other settings !
let us know ! - 3 years ago
Checked it. That´s not it. The problem here is in game, not things around it. You shouldnt have to be a computer wizard to play a simple game especially if your system is somewhat high end. I have never ran this game on higher settings than medium because of the poor performance. Nah I´ll wait for the next game or perhaps it will be fixed in the future but right now it´s not worth it for me. Sad because BF is the only game I play but I guess going back to the older titles isnt that bad.

- raverill3 years agoSeasoned Vanguard@d4vidi4n Yep…it’s definitely the game…you never know, a future patch may sort this damned micro stutter issue but I for one am not holding my breath…we’re a year down the road and the game doesn’t even run smoothly , never mind all the other issues.. Dice completely spoiled the Battlefield ethos on so many levels with this disappointing effort.

This issue is definitely the game and not our systems, it also happens on console.
I dont think they will ever fix it as they dont even acknowledge it and not all people notice it, I guess were sensitive.
- Rokebo733 years agoSeasoned Ace@d4vidi4n Your stuuter is extreme indeed, did you do cleanboot before ya start playing the game ?
If ya do a cleanboot less programms will startup so your cpu / gpu / mem can handle more data without interupts.
IF after this cleanboot game runs better , then check for software that runs in the background (example Armoury) !
try this again , as ya did before and post your results aghain please !
reboot pc by a clean boot:

I opened a bug report https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/rubber-banding-movement-stutters/m-p/11874052#M21366
@EA_Atic even asked for footage and after I went and recorded it he just ignored me...

@Max1boy sorry for the delay.
Could you do another video of that happening with PerfOverlay.drawFps 1 it should see what hardware is doing at the same time and if anything is going into the red.
We seen that TN spikes when FPS is being unstable, not seeing see the unstable FPS icon from your video so curious to see how it's looking.

@EA_Atic Hi, here it is https://youtu.be/7oDygep2n3k
The recording is from when then "TN" started fluctuating and going up, you can see the rubber banding starts to happen.
It is especially noticeably when im driving the RAM but can also be seen and felt on foot.
