This is the biggest problem of BF2042!!
When I get this stuttering, which is bad enough on its own, hit reg and movement is out the window as well and the game is totally unplayable
And it is happening a lot. It seem if I play for multiple hours this issue is mitigated as I don’t experience the stutter and lag so often after a couple of hours, or maybe I just become numb to the fact
It more or less seems Im for no reason(?), as ping shows approx. 30ms, is way out of sync with server
Getting shoot behind a corner, a half to a second, after Im behind cover, shooting at enemies but hit boxes are way ahead of the character I see, if I drive a vehicle close to other vehicles, the screen/view bounces rapidly back and forth from my «version» or location of my character in the game and what the server or other clients have as location
Movement of the character feels like ice skating as the position is slowly sliding towards the server location of your character
So the in game ping have to be totally wrong and the actual latency is more like 500-1000ms
Have you or anyone found a fix for this problem? I never had this issue until today after updating to Season 3. I added a copy of my DxDiag text file to this post with my info
new map is stuttering indeed, TN keeps jumping all over the place.
Same here...never had this issue until Season 3 update. Time nudge goes up too 400ms and is literally unplayable. Its definitely not on our end if its happening to multiple people since the update. Classic BF2042.
In addition to this ongoing issue, after this update,whats with the LOD pop in now on ground foliage as you run forward on the Spearhead map?
Probably an attempt by Dice to help FPS ? poor.. poor ...poor.
This game continues to be a mess..
Back to MW2,that runs like a dream, will try 2042 again after next patch to see if improved... ☹️ Continued disappointment!

Same issue, I have over 300 hours of gameplay and since late Monday, I get stuttering and massive frame drops resulting in freezing. I have an I7-9700k and an RTX 2080. I play with DLSS and go from 110-120 FPS to less then 40 FPS resulting is a freeze. Is there a fix or workaround for this?
I have been dealing with Rubber Banding since June/July and I can't find the cause of the problem, the game worked fine before June, I can't find the issue with the game, it's very frustrating at this point
Since Season 3 time nudge just jumps up and down all the time, rarely its at 5ms, as it was before, now it jumps permantenly between 10 and 300ms. pretty much unplayable, before Season 3 it was not an issue
The devs are literally just ignoring it. Numerous posts on the forums about time nudge, tons of people having this issue, this 500 reply thread, literally visible in the trailer. Are they literally just going to keep ignoring that it exists? I just want some bloody acknowledgment that they're working on it, that they're trying to solve it. Jesus christ, how hard is it to update the "known issues" page.
