I am having the same exact issue. BF2042 ran perfect before the last update, now it stutters on the main screen, loading screen, while playing, totally unplayable. Ran a repair, moved the game to a diff drive, uninstalled and reinstalled, deleted cache from my documents, updated my Radeon drivers, no luck. Even at lowest settings and resolution it stutters severely, but only after last update. All other games work perfectly fine. Please help.

Coudl you all post a dxdiag please (press WINDOWS key + R , typ in DXDIAG and press enter. DXDIAG will open and run for a few seconds. Now in the lower part of the DXDIAG window there is an option to SAVE a file. Save that file and post it here in this topic !)
Also do a clean bopot and check if there is less Screen lag !!

@Rokebo73 I performed the clean boot and still had the same issue. So either its an issue with steam, origin, or the game itself. I attached the DxDiag file

I have followed all instructions and restarted with a clean boot. The same exact stuttering is happening at the same spots, game is still unplayable. I'm pretty sure it has to be something with that last BF update and not my PC. I had no issues prior and all other games still work flawlessly.
Attached is my dxdiag text file.
