It seems like this is your first report in this thread, so I unfortunately don't know if you've tried any troubleshooting steps already to try to stop the game from crashing.

I posted in another thread and followed mostly all recommendations. Game was pretty stable for some days and then started crashing again. It is not reproducable. Sometimes works fine, sometimes not. Game screen freezes and crashes to desktop. I am playing just for fun, when i got a minute free time.... very annoying if it doesn't work as it should.

Alright so you were saying that after activating Dx12 via the settings file in the Documents folder, running the game as admin and some other outside-game adjustments, the game stopped crashing for a while, but it now has returned?
Very strange indeed, since the Dx12 in the settings file is an invalid parameter (it doesn't change anything/has no effect), because BF2042 is a Dx12 only game. Maybe it's a placebo effect?

I play with AMD GPU AND CPU.

Its not runing hard. But got error code that gpu cant handel this.

Today no way to play. All 4 to 5 attempts failed. Just entered, crashed to desktop. Time lost for nothing and absolutly no interest in looking for a solution. EA should fix it, not me...

Would you maybe be able to answer the question that I posted in my previous message that was addressed to you?
The question: What did you change exactly when you mentioned 'outside-game adjustments'? I don't remember all of them. Execute BF2042 as admin, some grphic card adjustments.... Some suggestions found that seemed reasonable. I don't write them down.... I'll pause playing until the update promised for march, if it keeps crashing afterwards it will be deleted. My time is to precious to waste it with try-and-errors.....
That's what I'm doing right now. use to play 5-6hours per day in all BF games but this one I cant play more then 1-2hours before crash. So now once again I will tell you a story:
The game DO NOT crash cause of any settings or "you must re-install origin, clear cache etc"!!!!
This is a developer problem cause EA/DICE pushed the game out to early. Dev team are wokring on this problem since December.
Don't go after those steps "How to fix" or "Enable DX12 in profile" That's just a placebo effect. Also those tricks with "Update driver or your PC is overklocked. I'm telling you that NOTHING works
So again you CAN'T do anything else then wait for a new update. We think there will be some updates early March and an other big one early summer. If this isn't fix by then well you should just close the game and delete it cause this is like i was saying a dev problem and that can take 6-12 months before they even located the problem and then patch it up.
OVERALL:::: THIS IS A DIRECT X PROBLEM AND CAN'T BE FIXED BY ANYONE ELSE THEN EA AND DICE!!!Well, what seems to work for me is to delete the game cache before starting the game. For the moment at least no crashes....

a few days ago AMD published new drivers patch, as well as Samsung (my NVME M.2 SSD card provider)
happy to say that the game is working fine with no errors/crushes.
I've been update my system to WINDOWS 11(pro) and there is no problem to use any of EA games /features.
only problem that by now (almost 3 months later..) it seems like the game is deserted by most of the BF2042 community.
it takes more then 20 min to find a game now, and portal have only a few players only 1 or 2 full lobbies.
so sad.. i couldn't even use this game all this time.
and now it seems there is no one left to play with it... just lost my money for it. (probably can't ask for refund because i have 150h on the game on total.
I'm not blaming you of course just sharing my feelings about it
so frustrating.
anyway, to the point.
I thought that you should know about the updates thing.
