Funny enough I can now join hazard mode. Not at all interested in it so I’m not sure if it worked all along since I didn’t even think to try that mode until today. Others modes are all the same. I can also show you how to refund this bad boy through MS if you need help with that. I for one won’t sit around and let the refund window expire with the trust that this gets fixed. Hell, you are the only person who has replied to me. Not one person who represents EA/DICE/BATTLEFIELD here, on twitter or elsewhere has given me the time of day.

They finally answered me. Two steps I Hadn't tried. not sure if one does the trick but delete the save game data locally for battlefield and also go into network advanced settings on the xbox and clear the alternate mac address. Boom, now I'm playing laggy battlefield with everyone else and all is well. Good luck to you.

@zerom0d Good to hear you were able to get into matches, we are aware of similar reports and have shared them with our team, check do you know if the game worked after both steps were done, or just deleting save files?- 4 years ago
I am having the same issue, and I have tried clearing the alternate mac address, and removing save data. No dice. Also have connected to different networks, reset console, and reset the router. Would appreciate help. I have messaged several times to get some assistance, and haven’t heard back yet. I would like to play the game I have yet to even see the main menu of. Thanks.

Well, sadly I still cant get into a game. Stuck on the "waiting for players to join" screen. Talk about getting ripped off. At least in Call of Duty I can play the single player/story mode. This game didnt bother to have a story mode. #EA stole my money. I would like it back.
