BF 2042 content from preordering BF6 on Steam not available

I pre-ordered battlefield 6 phantom edition on steam. The most expensive one. I then got battlefield 2042 on steam. I have my steam account linked to my ea account. However, 2042 is saying there is content i can get for pre-ordering battlefield 6 and it asks me to pre-order the game, but I have already pre-ordered battlefield 6. Why do I not have access to this content on my account in battlefield 2042.

I already spoke with support and have a case number, but they told me to post in this form for some reason as a community manager is suppose to reply to me. So I am a bit confused as I just want pre-order content in 2042 from BF6 that I paid for. Thank you.
