I have the latest drivers! It may seem that DX12 in fault but I tried to turn it Off, no changes. I've done a clean install of GPU drivers, repairing game (Origin), reinstalling game.... no luck. How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Well it's hard to know.What happens when the bug occurs? Ingame black screen then back to desktop. Game quit What should be happening instead? A decent play time Everything was said in the report.I tried several options as DX12 off, 1080 resolution, low settings, auto settings (medium)... The game crashes to desktop after 5 to 10 minutes of play'n without any error message. Some crash dump files not readable with Windebug others point to access violation error!

Hello and thanks again for your time and advises. I've done my best to find what's wrong and nothing works till now. I managed to finish 1 map and then again crashes to desktop in the middle of the next one.I tried to understand my crashdump via windbg, it seems that there is an access violation that I do not understand.

I'm getting the same issue occasionally. Happens sometimes when I do stuff like opening a "squad and players" menu during match. Doesn't seem to be related to my pc or network environment but the game itself.

I didn't get any crash since I changed my RAM sticks and added another 16 Gb and there is the first huge patch BF2042...
I'm not sure that it will never crashes because I don't play often anymore ☹️

Have you tried analyzing the .mdmp files in C:\Users\joshu\Documents\Battlefield 2042\CrashDumps and seeing what the error code is?
Mine reads ERROR_CODE: (NSTATUS) 0xc0000005 - The instruction at 0x%p refrenced memory at 0x%p. The mmory could not be %s.
it also has another section saying **Pseudo Context ** SYMBOL_NAME: memory_corruption!BF2042.exe
FAILURE_BUCKET_ID: MEMORY_CORRUPTION_LARGE_c0000005_memory_corruption!BF2042.exe
Still not sure how to fix it but am mostly curious if it says the same thing or something similar. I've had a few different analyses come from bf2042 but almost identical each time. usually, it's the bucket id that's different.

Id like my money back since it just crash to desktop in 1-10 minutes.

And I got it using epic games soo I guess its not that easy.. still its EA,s junk

@8IGD4DDY Had this issue, turned off steam overlay works great now. Even keep my xmp profile on. Try it!
