So when playing the game, I see a good amount of artifacting. Such as things flying or stuck in the air that shouldn't be, or when running with the SCAR assault rifle I get a black block in front of me, also noticing players frozen. Is this just bugs that need to be addressed, or is it something else??
EA Staff (Retired)Im on PC with a AMD 5900X CPU and a AMD 6900 XT. I tried to get a screenshot several times of the issue with the scar and the black block when I run, but it didn't work.
I managed to take a pic with my phone, this happens everytime I run with the SCAR, no other weapon I use does this.
So any suggestions on this matter??
I'm getting the same thing. PC, 1080 Ti, latest drivers. Rebooted and all that. Still have a rectangular artifact while I run.
EA Staff (Retired)Hi @killroy2963 Thanks for the additional information, can you try the following to see if this continues?
- Changing loads for scar through plus menu, or changing your gun the going back to the scar on next respawn to see if the block stays or comes back.
- Repair BF2042 through Origin (Verify - Steam)
- Disable Origin overlay, and any other running overlays
- Clean Boot your device.
I also tried to downgrade my driver to a set that did not have this graphical artifact with no success. the artifact was still there with the SFAR when running.
I installed the latest driver from AMD and it made no difference. Do you have any other ideas??
