BF2042 crashing and restarts pc

@yunqivanThis is a classic crash caused by two things:
1. Overheating, check your temps and clean the dust out of your rig if you haven't in a while
2. Not enough voltage on your 12v rail, causing Windows to reboot the system. Check your voltages using a utility, if you 12v rail is 11.5 or below, you need to replace the PSU.

Max temp gpu: 75

Max temp cpu1-12: 93

Avg gpu temp: 70

Avg cpu temp: 74-81

I have no multimeter to check.. so... new PSU or? its 6 months old?

i also tried what #2 said... still crashing ☹️

minimum voltage is 12.000 V

so what seems to be the problem then? pc 6 months old bought for release of this game. so disappointing that it suddenly starts crashing and makes the game unplayable 6 months after release.

Same problem here. I tried your suggestions ran the windows scans updated drivers. System is cool, voltage is good.

try disabling boost mode in cpu power management in bios. it worked for me.

old cpu out new cpu in.
