BF2042 crashing and restarts pc

Hey sorry for my few days long silent. I have it still in my head but I am starting be littlebit bussy before christmas. I trying now something now. Maybe was problem on my side with nvme ssd. I now trying everything from begining with new ssd and now it looks on right way. I will be updating later after more testing but now is it littlebit harder how I told... around christmas. Will be update later. Thank you.

@Rokebo73 Ok I trayed uninstal game and instal on my second ssd in hope my ssd is broken but not. Still same issue pc random reboot on both ssd.

I trayed the Event viever and I found few errors in "aplications" and "system" other was without errors. All will be pinned.

You told something about my version of windows... I download it from official microsoft webside and instal from usb. I manualy check new updades but nothing is here. No updates. Looks like updated.

I now looking on the errors and when I am not a software advanced user but I see some missing programs / or componenets... it can not really be something with both ssd? Its not new ssds. Its from my old PC but in Samsung Magician is all good. Good conditions.

i do see a lot of errors, some are probarly to fix without any issues.
Some others will need more experience.
I see net work files. kernell files, nvidia files ect ect ect are in an error (or a bad config).
It can be 3rd party software (virus/vpn/malware ect ect ect), that cause those issues.
Or software/drivers that arent compatbile/out of date also.
I f ya got time and some windows experience ya could try to fix them, but..
i recommend to do a fresh windows install at new created and quick formatted partitions.

@Rokebo73  I am not sure if reinstal windows helps me. I reinstal win maybe three or four times in last few weeks. When I start instalation I deleted the ssd and create one new partition every time. And yes, I download the win from the web site what you posted. But in different language for my country. But yes It is it. And virus vpn etc... its sounds littlebit scary...

i see some old drivers while they website offer new drivers.

Make sure ya install all drivers (focus on it, some drivers are displayed in different versions, use latest versions only)

Did any oc for cpu or memory (xmp) ?
Did made new partions ?\

the ssd980 pro 1tb got an heatsink attached ?

Did check for any temps during gameplay with hwinfo64?

Ya need a good airflow in youre pc case.

A little postive pressure is ok.

(example: 4 fans get air into the case , and 3 fans push air out of the case !)

Update system drivers: I download from the link app center and yes, there was some drivers out of date so I did update on new versions (pinned file)

OC for cpu and memory: Yes, xmp profile for memory is ON but only this. Nothing more oc for memory. CPU is not overclocked too, its stock.

Did made new paritions: Yes, I did new partions.

ssd 980pro heatsink: Yes, before reinstal windows I replaced thermal pads betwen ssd and heatsink - brand new thermalpads. My motherboard have some metal cover for ssd - I think it is the heatsink 

hwinfo64 temps: not in HwInfo but in HwMonitor. After when I moved Battlefield on my second ssd... the Samsung QVO 860 but on this disc pc reboot too during playing BF42. On QVO 860 was max temp 45 degrees celsious and on my system disc 980 Pro was 60 degrees celsious.

Yes I uninstal NZXT CAM, right now is not in my PC.

But I have problem with last few steps. I no found WER-9656-0.sysdata.xml there are some files and folders but not this. And all files in ProgramData I no found too. There are these folders C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\WER\Temp\ but the last \Temp\ is completly empty. Btw Yes, I have turned on showing hidden files.

@Vietrak_fellaits possible something is wrong , just do a test with XMP disabled.

Please do this also:
Press Windows key + 'R' ,typ CMD
Press and hold down CTRL + SHIFT and press ENTER.
When User Account Control shows up, click Yes.
Now enter this command:

wmic /output:C:\mb_mem_bios_info.txt memorychip list full&wmic /append:C:\mb_mem_bios_info.txt baseboard get product, Manufacturer&wmic /append:C:\mb_mem_bios_info.txt bios get smbiosbiosversion

At youre C: drive there is now a file called mb_mem_bios_info.txt post this file please !!!

This will not say it causes issues, but ya cannot tell if they are compatible with cpu (bios xmp) and software ya use.

(those memory modules arent tested at this board , "yet" , by manufacture of MB)

Did ya test mem modules already with memory test software/game and also just only 1 memory module at a time at memory port A2 ?

@Rokebo73 Memory are in slots A2 + B2. I cant put in to A1 + B1 because there are water cooling pipes. I tryed somehow rotate by the water pump but its not possible because power suply cable is very short so cant be connected in to pump when I rotate with the pump. So it is reason why I using slots A2 + B2.

Yeah, XMP is right now disabled.

I never before test my memory modules. I can try it but you can say me any tips for any software? I understand the modules are not on supported list but this issue arose after times. I think when will be non compatible so the issue will be here from beginings or?

And you ask me if ya try use only one module in A2 slot so... no... I no tryed it... I´ll do it right now...

Game is almost unplayable right now with one memory module. I lost around 50% fps. 😃

I tryed the test by Windows Memory Diagnostics Tool. I tested the memory separated. So first one in A2 slot, after test I put the memore out and inserted in to A2 memory from B2 slot. After first test and reboot PC pop up on right down corner result about the test. First test was ok - no errors. But after second test (so second memory) no pop up the window with results. I sit during test at PC and during test no errors... So I dont know... I do it again...

For better understand... I doing test everytime with only one module equiped in A2 slot.

Ok I did the test again and now the window pop up but without any errors. So we now have both modules tested with no errors.

You could play game even with fps lost ?

So no error , blue screen during game ?

ps memory sticks should be in A2 and B2 indeed for dual channel performance !

If ya test sticks, a memory test tool doesnt display always an error, even when memory os broken/faulty.

@Rokebo73 Yeah, I trying play. Since yesterday when I updated the drivers no was any problem. But still cant say is it fixed... sometimes it took longer than happen some error. So will be update later 🙂)

@Rokebo73 After very long time here is my results. You high probly fixed my computer. I really not trust it on 100% but everything looks allright now. Now I have in PC back both memory modules and system and games are stable for few days. No more any crash or reboot whole PC. I think it was must be in the missing drivers. Is it really possible so huge troubles only by missing or old drivers? It really looks like we hit the target. Is it possible? I still cant believe it... 😃
