BF2042 Crashing on XBOX Series S

I have been playing BF2042 on XBOX One since  it came out.  I don’t recall the game ever crashing on me during that time.

I purchased a brand new Series S two days ago to upgrade.  The only game installed is BF2042.  I would have to say that the game crashes one out of every 2-3 matches and I have pushed forward to play a good bit of matches during those 2 days despite this issue.

I have…

1. Restarted the console multiple times.

2. Uninstalled the game and reinstalled it.  The game crashed the very first match after the reinstall.

3. Changed the DNS primary and secondary as mentioned in another thread.

4. Checked my connectivity - no issues.

5. Made sure I was up to date with console updates.

6. Confirmed I own the digital copy of the game.

My next step is to (yuck) try a different multi-player game to see if I have the same issue to hopefully determine if this is related to the game or the console.

Looking for help in the meantime as this is a pretty upsetting experience when I had zero issues with the older gen console.
