BF2042 mid-game crash on PS5

My game crashes 100% of the time while I'm in matches. Occasionally I'm able to play 2-3 matches, but for the most part the game randomly freezes and crashes whereafter I;m returned to the PS5 homesc...

Hi @JimmyvanZ,

Are you getting any error codes when the game crashes, or is it just shutting down with no error?

@EA_Kent When the game shuts down I get the PS5 error-codeCE-108255-1. I already reset my console, though. This has not helped.
Upon opening the BF2042 application again the unknown error code 2:2600/J pops up.
So far this is al I have encountered.
Is the only issue now to maybe apply for a replacement console, or can they fix it through a patch/update?

    @EA_Kent yes this was a factory reset! Was hopeful it would help but subsequently after recalibrating the BF2042 settings (so not in-match) the game crashed again..

Game crashes to dashboard after 2 or 3 games also. But I have noticed it always happens mid game when I click on view squad/leader board every single time. Note: the game works fine after it reboots its like its an initial warm up to the game and it crashes then its fine after.

  And I have good connection and speeds. There is no error code though it just does this without any errors.

    Hi thanks for replying. No only play on Series X. It's happening mostly on breakthrough and very rarely on conquest. Also it never happens on portal or hazard zone just to narrow it down. Thanks

I am having the same issue!! Has crashed about 50 times. Same error code mentioned above. I have tried clearing caches and rebuilding, deleted game and reinstalled, moved from external hard drive to internal, and reset my PlayStation to factory settings. Nothing has worked. Have sent report all 50 times. Nothing being done about it. The PS5 works with no problems, the PS4 version of game crashes every other game.

Same problem here. Recently changed from PS4 to PS5 and are now having crashes on Bf2042 all te time. Crash happens at any point in the game. Usually after 1 fine game. App is closed and I have to start again. already tried resetting ps5 and reinstalling bf.
