BF2042 new issues today

Yesterday I played for 4 hours with a few minor crashes as usual but today, I download the BF6 pre-download as I had an email saying I could. That all seemed to download just fine. I also uninstalled the files from the BF6 beta while I was at it. So today I was just going to play 1 or 2 maps after I got my work done and it's a major nightmare yet again. First I got a green screen error about a page fault and it mentioned the Microsoft Insiders Version which I do not even use andafter a reboot the game would not load with some error about trying again later as the issue was on EA's side. Then I tried again later and now I am getting error messages about my game files being corrupt so I look up how to fix it and delete the Battlefield folder after trying to delete the 2 profile files that didn't work. I have to CTRL/ALT/DEL to get past the corrupt file errors and shut it down. All I keep getting is errors about my game files being corrupt. I even uninstalled BF2042 and the EA AntiCheat and still get the same errors. WTF??

So I tried to load BF4 and it works fine...Go figure.

    Given the game doesnt go live for a week perhaps quickly try fully uninstalling BF6, and then reinstall 2042. The page fault error is interesting but if it doesnt repeat itself could be a red herring side issue.

    I uninstalled BF6 and BF2042 and ran SFC and DISM with no errors found. I rebooted and waited until this morning and installed BF2042. I ran it and I got an error that said EA has detected corrupt game files. Reinstall or repair game. I said ok and the I got an error that said could not connect and try later. So I am repairing the new install. I am not having a good feeling about this. If it fails again I will run a memory test as I have before with never any issues found.

    Ok, the memory diagnostics found nothing. So I walked the dog and thought to myself . . . Try playing on my other pc that I used to use before I built this one 2 or 3 months ago. And just like I suspected, it fails with the same error message about corrupt data files. So they must be corrupt on EA's end as there is no way 2 different pc's would fail the same way at the same time.  I spent 10 time more time trying to sort out all the different issues to play this game over the last 2-3 months than I have actually played the game. I sure hope BF6 isn't hosed too. 

    I would open up a tech support ticket but lately they don't ever answer or even show that I have a case even after posting it 3 times. I wonder if buying the game (BF2042) through Epic or Steam will help?

    On another note after researching until I am blue in the face I found that EA sold the franchise and on October 3rd (yesterday), the change to the new owners likely took place. Read this:
