BF2042 Still crashing
The game is still intermittantly crashing. Especially when I alt+tab the game sometimes. It does it when theres a lot going on in screen as well like a big firefight, or fire from the rocket explos...

Press Windows + R, type dxdiag and press Enter to run dxdiag application on Windows 10/11.
Now in the new Window ya see SAVE ALL INFORMATION.
Click it and save it to desktop for example, post the file that is created please !

I have a similar scenario and the same error. I use the RX 6800XT GPU and the same CPU and RAM Memory... My game close unexpected during the match.
Follow my dxdiag in the attachment.
In the past I executed the clean uninstall, I tried use in the Win10 and Win11, actually I stay on the Win11. In summay I tried some troubleshooting and not get fix my problem.
I can see some minudmps in my docs about "privilege error" (I not sure) but I dont know how I can send it here...
I so bad because the support from EA (EA support) not send to me any fix to solve this...

I see multiple blue screen errors in youre dxdiag.
Run HWINFO64 in the background (enable sensors only) , and check for temps at CPU / GPU and MEMORY.
When did this issue occure? since day 1 ya got bf2042 ?
What memory (partnumber) do ya use in in wich slots are they installed ?
I see ya got latest bios already, when did ya update bios?
Did already HARD reset cmos ? and reconfigured BIOS settings ?

So, lets go to your questions:
1 - About the HWINFO, I check continuous the temps using the AMD Overlay during the normal/gaming use, the temps are stable.
2 - The issue was started unexpected, I'm not sure what is the difference in the hardware/software between the moment that game was running and was stopped, but I remember that used in the Win10 and now I use Win11...
3 - I use 2x memory's Team group, each one 16GB DDR4 3200Mhz (01A8BF2B) working in dual channel (Total: 32GB) [Slots A1 and B1]. I using the XMP default profile from available in my BIOS Settings.
4 - I updated the BIOS in the last month. I checked today that I have a new version available and will update now (F18c).
5 - I had reconfigured my bios sometimes ago... because had other problem not involved the game. About the BIOS, yesterday I remember that not disable the resizableBAR in the BIOS, because for default this was not enabled and after do it, I testing the game and received the error about Directx now... I will attach the specific error also.
On this way, I will execute the Clean Removal from AMD and test the game again.

Yeah i have seen issues with this ADRENALIN software.
It boost system (hardware) to much that could result in errors.
Also do a SFC /SCANNOW in command prompt (run as administrator).

ps if ya memory is in A1 and B1 then you do not use DUAL CHANNEL

it should be in slots A2 and B2you wrote also this "Team group, each one 16GB DDR4 3200Mhz (01A8BF2B)" <-- i do not see memory pertnumber.
Memory partnumber from Team Group, do look like this for example: TLZGD416G3600HC18JDC01 , please find partnumbers from both memsticcks.
Some times those partnumbers are at memory sticks it self, post them please , from both memory sticks ya use !!!!!Cheers
The game is still crashing to the desktop without any errors. Fresh windows, fresh drivers. All fresh!
I hope someone from EA does not show up and will not recommend me reinstall anything of it.

Sorry for my delay to reply back, but I solved the problem, now I can play the game normally. Check my steps to solve the problem for me:
1 - Disable ResizableBAR in the BIOS
2 - Checked if I not had Overclocks configurations3 - Execute the clean removal from AMD Clean Utility and reinstall the Adrenalin Software
4 - Verify/check files from the game in EA App
** In my priority I execute the game how Administrator, but for me this is optional I not fell diferences.
For me using this steps, the problem not happen's again. In my opinion the main problem was about the resizableBAR, because for default this config is not enabled in my BIOS.
